Advancing Awareness.

Carolina Severe Weather Research documents severe weather through field observation, photography, and scientific research to help educate and inform the public.

Our Story

Driven by Passion.
Guided by Research.

Carolina Severe Weather Research was built from a passion for chasing severe weather and a commitment to scientific research. The team documents powerful weather events, studies atmospheric behavior, and helps bring greater public awareness to severe weather safety and preparedness.

What began as a passion for observing severe weather has grown into a mission centered on education, documentation, and public awareness. Through field observation, photography, and research-focused outreach, Carolina Severe Weather Research works to make severe weather science more accessible to the communities it serves.
